About the project

Aim of the project

The aim of the project, prepared with the support of Ministry of Education Grant 2960 / 2011/G1, was to create a web portal promoting the courses dealing with the reconstruction of buildings for visual presentation of examples (case studies) the refurbishment of historic buildings in Czech and English version - designed to support teaching in subjects dealing the theme of failure and reconstruction of structures taught at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. The basis of presented topics in these articles is the issue of defects and failures of building structures and degradation of building materials. Due to the large volume of the substance discussed in these subjects can not be the issue of rehabilitation of historic buildings devoted sufficient space.
